The Amazing World of Blogging

I've been a blogger only for a few months. I love this amazing world of blogging. The freedom it gives you to express yourself and share those expressions with others. It's been a wonderful platform where I could freely let my thoughts flow without interruptions of sorts. The blogging world has opened up amazing opportunities to many people and now many of them are quite popular and well known.

So I'd like all you bloggers out there to help me out with an article i'm working on. So could you please tell me what your thoughts are on the world of blogging, what it has done for you and why you are drawn to it. Thank you for your time and help :)

Cheers
Rukz :D

  1. Hey there,
    I was already following you...:)
I think the world of blogging has given so many people (women in particular) a voice where perhaps they wouldn't have one otherwise. It is sometimes comforting to write vs speak - yes?
I have had a wonderful experience thus far, have met so many lovely, supportive women and continue to be drawn to new blogs daily.

Hope that provides some good insight!
    cheers

  2. Hi Rukz. Why do I blog? So many different reasons. Mine started as a diary on a dating website and as status updates on FB but neither were quite the right platform for the things I wanted to say.

I think I found I had things I wanted to share. things from the past, things that were happening now. Silly and serious things.

I also love to write and it's something I've neglected for many years so blogging is an outlet.

In a way I also see it as a tribute to the people and situation that I come across. Stories that would be lost in time are preserved for whoever may want to read them in the future.

Thank you for your comment on my post and for the link back to you. I would follow but the option doesn't seem to be available right now, I'll keep checking for it.

  3. This is interesting to think about - I think that I was drawn to blogging because I see it as a tool to collect my thoughts in one place. It also makes it a bit easier to share with people - I find I'm pretty shy when it comes to sharing my writing and the anonymity of a computer screen and the fact that I control what is said (to an extent) in my blog atmosphere it a plus too. I like what Sarah said too - a tribute to the people and situations I experience. Lastly, maintaining a blog encourages me to write, which I always need too. I just found your blog today - will be following you. Your background picture is so pretty. x
